Abstract
Note: The course includes materials for supervisors to support their technician’s learning. This added feature enhances real-time application and helps learners get more out of the training experience.
When new technicians learn the basic verbal operants during their onboarding, they may feel overwhelmed as they’re also learning basic behavioral principles and teaching procedures. In addition, experienced technicians may require a review of the verbal operants and their controlling variables, as well as a refresher on how programming is developed and implemented for verbal behavior. This course bundle provides a review of the elementary verbal operants. It also strengthens a ProTech’s grasp of language and communication assessments and interventions through Skinner’s verbal behavior framework.
