Tate received his Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts in 1996 from Carnegie-Mellon University and his Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2004 from the Florida Institute of Technology. He became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), in 2004. Tate has been working with adults and children with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism, since 1997. Tate has worked in settings such as: early intervention clinics, day programs, forensic and psychiatric settings, ICF developmental facilities, schools, and in private ABA practice. He provides high-quality ABA Therapy to clients in their homes and in the community. Tate has experience providing Verbal Behavior Assessments and Treatment (VBMAPP and ABLLS-R programs) to young children with Autism. He has been a Suncoast Region Behavior Assistant Certified Instructor since 2006, and served two terms on the Local Review Committee for Pinellas County from 2005-2009. Tate has presented at the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis (FABA) Conference and is a Co-Instructor for the Florida Tech Professional Development Program. He became a part of the ABA Therapy Associates' team in 2012 and works the Pinellas County area.
