Christi became a BCaBA in 2000 while providing in-home verbal behavior programming to children with ASD. In her first 10 years in the field, she worked on teams overseen by Dr. Vince Carbone. During that experience, she developed a passion for verbal behavior. Christi earned a Master of Science in applied behavior analysis from Florida Institute of Technology in 2002 and became a BCBA the same year.
Christi has an extensive background in implementing ABA methods in a variety of venues such as homes, schools, companies, as well as in the courtroom as an expert witness in the field of ABA. Christi was the clinical director of an ABA clinic in Hawaii for four years and consulted for a number of years. She now works for ABA Technologies, Inc., and teaches for FIT. Christi is highly motivated to help disseminate ABA and provide ongoing support and protection of the field’s integrity by teaching people to have better standards of practice.
